Philosophy

Adele Journal was started because I wanted to promote imaginative, story-based adult entertainment.  Usually, “adult entertainment” is a synonym for gratuitous sexual content with a bare minimum of story and character to carry it, but that’s not what it has to be.

In so many cultures, there is a split between sexual content and other kinds of content.  While that gap is narrowing, the mindset that erotic stories are somehow different from any other kind of stories still remains.  It is even present in erotic writers, whether they realize it or not.

My philosophy is this: the best erotic stories take the reader through the “full adult experience,” which includes sexual expression and sexuality, along with all the other elements that make engaging, imaginative entertainment.  My quest is to help create entertainment that is more than a diversion, but stories that will make people feel as though they’ve lived more vividly.
